Our Design + Build approach means you work with one cohesive team from start to finish. We handle everything from design and permits to construction, ensuring a smooth and efficient remodeling experience. This integrated process helps reduce miscommunications and speeds up project timelines.

Remodel costs can vary significantly depending on the scope, the condition of your home, and your material choices. Since market values fluctuate, it’s tough to give an exact number without first understanding your wants/needs and conducting a feasibility study, assessing what’s behind your walls. However, opting for a design-build approach helps you better control your budget. Unlike traditional remodeling, where you might spend $40,000+ on architectural plans before even bidding out the project to contractors, our design and project development phase covers all the conceptual, schematic, and design work, poising your project for the build. Plus, our designers are consulting with our expert builders through the entire phase to ensure that the plans are buildable, and that you get exactly what you want. This work that occurs over about 3 months is covered by a flat retainer fee upfront. Once we’ve developed a close, realistic budget at the end of the phase, you still have the option to decide whether you want to proceed with the build based on that budget.

Kitchen and bathroom remodels in San Francisco are heavily influenced by market trends and the unique challenges of working in older homes. While it’s difficult to pin down a realistic cost before a feasibility study and understanding your vision, we can tell you that kitchen remodels in the city rarely start below $120,000 (for the ENTIRE project, design, permitting, materials and products, and labor) and go up from there.
