“I remember Dad always having large plan sets laid out on the drafting table; he'd study them late into the evening.”

Bee's eclectic journey through 27 years has been shaped by a diverse mix of experiences, places, and ambitions. Raised on the lush island of Kaua'i, she later traveled the globe with an international non-profit, gathering a rich cultural awareness—and, admittedly, some life-changing food experiences. Bee earned her B.A. in Intercultural Peacebuilding on O'ahu's North Shore in 2019, then swapped tropical breezes for the urban intensity of Washington D.C., pursuing a career in International Conflict Transformation. It was there that she honed her marketing and storytelling skills—a side hustle she’d been nurturing throughout college for local businesses and family friends.

When COVID-19 redefined the workplace, Bee embraced the freedom to "work from the moon," embarking on a nomadic adventure that took her across the states from Las Vegas to Southern Oregon, finally landing in San Jose in early 2023. After years of wandering, she was instantly captivated by San Francisco, describing her first morning walk down a quiet Hayes Valley street as a moment when she felt "magic in the concrete buzzing in [her] feet." Settling into a beachside apartment in the Sunset District later that year, she remarked, "I am happiest when there's always a little bit of relentless sand in my apartment."

Bee’s love for design and construction runs deep in her veins. Her father managed major developments on Kaua'i, while her mother, with her artistic flair, constantly breathed new life into their home and her local beauty spa. "I remember Dad always having large plan sets laid out on the drafting table; he'd study them late into the evening," she recalls. This early exposure to construction, paired with her mother’s knack for finding beauty and potential in everything, cultivated Bee's own talent for curating spaces and curiosity about design.

Seeking to expand her skills after moving to the Bay Area, Bee initially took on a branding and storytelling role at a design & build firm on the Peninsula. But after securing her dream apartment in the city, she knew she wanted to be more deeply involved with the unique homes of San Francisco. Joining 415 Remodeling in July 2024, Bee is thrilled to enhance the client experience as the firm partners with homeowners on their renovation journeys.

"I've seen firsthand how disruptive and costly a remodel can be. Your home is your sanctuary, the place where you unwind and feel secure. My goal is to help our clients feel understood and respected throughout the process while keeping them excited about the fresh possibilities that come with reimagining their spaces."

When Bee isn't immersed in the remodeling scene of San Francisco, you can find her sinking her toes into the sand at Ocean Beach, diving into a developmental psychology book, or enjoying her friends and a picnic blanket at Golden Gate Park.
